Email address and password when you create an account
URLs you submit for scanning
Name, email, subject, and message when you contact us
Payment information processed securely by our payment provider (we never store card details)

Information collected automatically:

Basic usage data (pages visited, scan count, session duration)
IP address (used for rate limiting only, not stored long-term)
Browser type and device information
Cookies required for authentication sessions

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Generate and store your AEO readiness reports
Manage your account and subscription status
Process payments and send receipts
Respond to support and contact requests
Enforce scan limits by plan tier
Improve scanner accuracy over time
Send transactional emails (report ready, payment confirmation, account updates)

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage and Retention

All data is stored securely in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with encryption at rest
Guest scan data is not permanently stored
Logged-in user scan history and reports are retained while your account is active
Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing hello@aeocheck.co

5. Cookies

We use the following cookies:

Authentication cookies: Required to keep you logged in. Cannot be disabled.
Analytics cookies: Used via Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager to understand how visitors use the site. These are anonymized and do not identify you personally.

We do not use advertising or retargeting cookies.

Supabase: database and authentication
Vercel: hosting and edge delivery
Resend: transactional email delivery
OpenAI / Google Gemini: AI analysis of scanned page content
Google PageSpeed API: performance scoring

Stripe / Lemon Squeezy: payment processing
